CT ALERT EMERGENCY NOTIFICATION SYSTEM
Citizen's Information Guide on the Connecticut Alert Emergency Notification System Connecticut's new CT Alert ENS (Connecticut Emergency Notification System) is now in service.
During an emergency, the Town of East Hartford, State, or other agencies can identify the affected geographic area, record a message that describes the situation with recommendations on protective actions to take, and then send it directly to you.
You can get emergency alerts sent to you on any communication method you use, such as your cell phone, e-mail, test message, or certain hearing impaired receiving devices, just by providing your information, and keeping it updated, on the CT Alert ENS Citizen Sign-Up page.
The Town of East Hartford supports this program and encourages all residents to visit the site and sign up for emergency notifications.
